Art Basics – Plaster Paste

Opaque paste with the matte, plaster-like finish. Hard and permanent when dry, possible to smoothen and sand down with sanding blocks or similar tools. Perfect for creating natural-looking texture and adding dimension for great collage, home decor and more. For best results apply with a palette knife, texture tool or silicone brush, use a sanding block to soften the look after the paste is dry.

To preserve your effect paste – make sure the edge of your jar is clean after use, if the paste thickens over time, add a little warm water or acrylic medium and stir to restore the consistency.
